The singer made the announcement on her social media account today, 22 April.

Laufey, pronounced Lay-vay, will be performing at Plenary Hall at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) on 27 August.

Besides Kuala Lumpur, the jazz artist will also be visiting other Southeast Asian cities such as Bangkok, Manila, and Singapore.

Laufey is best known for her 1950s-inspired jazz vocals, enchanting fairy-like aesthetics, and honest songwriting that bewitches you from the first note

Following her debut single, Street by Street, in April 2020, Laufey released her first extended play, Typical of Me, the following year.

Her sophomore album, Bewitched, which was released in September 2023, received critical acclaim for its modern take on the jazz genre and nostalgic quality. It also won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

She recently released a new song, Goddess, which is the single for the deluxe edition of her Grammy-winning album. The music video was released on 11 April and was directed by Past Lives director Celine Song.
